Mr. Gopala Krishna Penumutchu, CEO and Board Director, Fertis India Pvt. Ltd.; Dr. Shailesh Shukla, Regional Breeding Field Testing Lead, Bayer Crop Science and Mr. Rajamathana Gopalan, Head-QA and Market Intelligence, Lactalis India, Pvt. Ltd. guided the 114th FOCARS probationers on 2nd August, 2025 at ICAR-NAARM. During his address Dr. Gopal Krishna suggested the scientists to harness science for serving the farmers and generating revenue through technology commercialization. He also suggested the scientists to be genuine while conducting research, as well while communicating the results. Dr. Shukla in his address suggested the scientists to define their targets towards doing either basic or applied research, as both the research pathways will serve the society. Mr. Gopalan has thrown light on emerging fields in dairy science for research based on his experience. Dr. Ganesh Kumar, Dr. R. Venkattakumar and Dr. Umesh Hudedamani coordinated the interaction program.
