On the occasion of the release of the 20thinstallment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi on August 02, 2025, a program was organized for farmers at the Indian Veterinary Research Institute (I.V.R.I.), Mukteswar. Farmers from nearby villages of Mukteshwar participated in the event.The program was chaired by Dr. Y.P.S. Malik, Joint Director, I.V.R.I., Mukteshwar. The event began with a “Farmer-Scientist Interaction,” during which scientists informed the farmers about various government schemes, listened to their problems, and provided solutions.Following this, all the farmers and scientists joined the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s address through video conferencing. As part of the interaction, the scientists shared knowledge about backyard poultry farming with livestock owners and also conducted a farm visit.On this occasion, inputs related to agriculture and animal husbandry viz., goat feed (5000 Kgs), poultry feed (1000 Kg), vegetable seeds (Muli, Palak, Dhaniya), agriculture tools (Axe, Saw, Gainthi) were distributed to the farmers under SCSP. The Joint Director thanked all the farmers for their participation and assured them that I.V.R.I., Mukteswar will continue to organize such programs and remain committed to supporting agriculture and animal husbandry sectors.The event was coordinated by Dr. Amol Gurav, Dr. Madhusudan A. P., and Dr. Nitish Singh Kharayat.
