What is the current weather forecast for Nagamangala taluk?

Current condition:
Right now it’s about 25 °C (77 °F) with a mix of clouds and sun. A comfortable temperature for field work.

What’s expected in the coming hours:

Around 5 pm: Mostly cloudy, temperature dropping to about 24 °C (74 °F).

By 6 pm: Cloud cover increases, around 22 °C (72 °F).

From 7–8 pm: Skies clear up, around 24 °C early evening, then dropping to 22–21 °C (72–69 °F).

Late night (10–12 midnight): Mostly clear sky, temperature sliding to 20–19 °C (68–66 °F).

Early hours (after midnight): Cooling further to 18–17 °C (64–63 °F) with some clouds.

Around 3–4 am: Expected to be 17 °C (63 °F), possibly cooler with intermittent clouds.

What this means for your fields and operations:

If you’re planning spraying or spraying-based operations, the early part of the evening (before 7 pm) looks good: mild temperature, decent visibility, and clearing skies—favourable for good coverage.

If you still need to water or irrigate, doing it before it gets too cool helps roots absorb moisture and nutrients better. After midnight it gets quite cool, and soil might take longer to warm up, which slows crop activity.

With clearing skies and falling temperature, the risk of humidity-driven disease pressure might reduce overnight. But if there’s lingering moisture or overnight dew, check for signs of fungal attack the next morning.

Farming tasks that require good daylight and moderate temperature should ideally be wrapped up before it gets too cool. After 8–9 pm, working conditions may become uncomfortable and crop growth slows a bit due to lower temperature.

For storing produce, harvesting late in the night or early morning sometimes sees cooler temperatures but also higher dew—so ensure harvested produce is kept dry to prevent quality loss.

Action checklist:

If you’ve planned pesticide or nutrient spray, aim for between 5 pm and 7 pm.

Check field moisture and consider light irrigation if the soil is drying and you’re nearing the critical growth stage.

After operations, keep field drainage and vigilance up because overnight cooling could lead to moisture settling in low spots.

Early next morning, inspect for any signs of pests or disease, especially if leaves looked wet or dew-heavy today.
