How to check PM-KISAN beneficiary status?

PM-KISAN is a central government scheme that provides financial support to farmers across India. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 per year in three installments. Sometimes farmers want to know whether their name is included in the beneficiary list, whether their payment has been released, or if any information is pending. Checking PM-KISAN beneficiary status has become very easy, and farmers can do it on their own with just a mobile phone.
To check the PM-KISAN status, the first requirement is the farmer’s Aadhaar number, mobile number, or bank account number linked to the scheme. Any one of these details is enough. The process begins by visiting the official PM-KISAN website. The website has a section where farmers can find all details related to their payments, verification, and eligibility.
Once the website opens, there is an option called “Beneficiary Status.” When the farmer clicks on it, the page asks for Aadhaar number, bank account number, or mobile number. After entering the correct details and submitting them, the system immediately shows the farmer’s current status. If the installment has been credited, it will display the date and the transaction details. If the installment is pending or stopped due to verification issues, the system will show the exact reason so that the farmer can take action.
The portal also shows whether the farmer’s details, such as Aadhaar and bank account information, have been correctly verified. Sometimes payments get delayed because Aadhaar is not linked properly, names do not match bank records, or e-KYC is incomplete. If the website shows such messages, the farmer needs to update his details at the nearest CSC centre, agriculture office, or bank branch.
Another useful feature available on the website is the “Beneficiary List.” Instead of searching by individual details, a farmer can choose his state, district, block, and village to see a full list of farmers who are registered under PM-KISAN in that village. This helps farmers confirm whether their name appears in the government’s official records.
Along with the website, farmers can also check their PM-KISAN status using a mobile app. The PM-KISAN app is available on Android phones and provides the same options as the website. Farmers can use it to check beneficiary status, installment history, and verification steps. It is easy to use and allows farmers to check information anytime without visiting any office.
Another simple method is linking the mobile number with the bank account. Whenever PM-KISAN money is deposited, the bank sends an SMS. If the farmer has not received a message, checking the passbook or bank account statement is also helpful.
If a farmer finds that his name is missing or installment is pending, he can contact the local agriculture officer, village patwari, or CSC operator to update the necessary details. Most issues are related to Aadhaar mismatch, uncompleted e-KYC, or wrong bank information, all of which can be corrected easily.
In simple words, checking PM-KISAN beneficiary status is easy and can be done online using a phone. By keeping Aadhaar, bank details, and e-KYC updated, farmers can ensure smooth and timely payment of PM-KISAN installments without any difficulty.
